From the switchboard to the decision
AIDCF splits the assurance work into fifteen domains so every concern has an owner and the right expertise. The domains do not split the argument. Power, cooling, compute, network and OT security all feed the same critical gates, so a weakness in one is judged together with the others.
Control text is a proposal. Control requirements shown here are from registry v1.1 (record status CANDIDATE), proposed under amendment AMD-002 and not yet approved. The approved baseline is v1.0, with the same control identifiers.
Domain explorer
Domains are grouped into the seven clusters of whitepaper section 8, running from direction and the subject of assurance, through the physical site and facility engineering, to the AI technology chain, operations, authority and evidence. Select a domain to see which other domains are judged at the same critical gates, or pick a gate to see which domains hold its critical controls. These are assurance links between controls; physical dependencies are traced in the infrastructure graph.
Direction and subject
Separate governance and decision rights from the capability being assured.
Dependency and place
Make hidden reliance and physical boundary explicit.
Facility engineering
Different mechanisms, expertise, telemetry and failure modes.
AI technology chain
Distinct but tightly coupled compute, data and communication functions.
Operation and recovery
Separate routine control from continuity, crisis and restoration.
Ecosystem and authority
Separate supplier/lifecycle reliance from digital and OT authority.
Assurance integrity
Independently govern evidence, assessment, gates and decision integrity.

Domains judged at the same gates
These domains hold critical controls for the same gates, so their results are judged together. This is an assurance link, not a physical dependency: for what relies on what, see the infrastructure graph.
